Toon Shader 3ds Max
An example of using Falloff maps to create a pseudo-toon shader. It doesn't have all the features available with a true toon shader, but this method still allows for some very nice "simplified" textures.
For comparison purposes, the first image is the "toon shaded" version while the second is of the objects with standard textures. In both images, the shadows are raycasted. Main Page |
